.
Coon Rapids football coach Clayton Copple has no idea why he thought his team's game at Stillwater would come down to a last-second field goal. He just had a feeling. So he shared it with kicker Adam Rietz, a soccer player who was suited up in just his second game with the Cardinals.
Copple called Rietz over after the kicker missed an extra point that would have tied the game early on.
He said: "Don't worry - you're going to get a chance to win the game tonight."
The kicker didn't believe his coach.
He does now.
