1/3 Robert M. Wulff dedicated his life to helping people, especially Southeast Asians. In Thailand he was known as the "Great White Leper" because he was 6 feet 3 and had started leper colonies there.
His son, Dan Wulff of Lakeville, said he was not afraid to touch the lepers. "If I catch it, I catch it," he told his son. "These people need to be loved, too."
In the 1960s, Hubert Humphrey said that Bob Wulff helped inspire the Peace Corps concept. Wulff died Saturday of cancer in his home in Lakeville. He was 73.
