1/3 Dayton's revealed plans Monday to open a 225,000-square-foot store in a new mall envisioned for fast-growing Maple Grove. The two-level store would include a full line of merchandise, ranging from clothing to home products.
If all goes according to plan, construction of the Dayton's Maple Grove store at the southeast corner of Interstate Hwy. 94 and the new Hwy. 610 would be finished by the end of 2003. The Rouse Co. of Columbia, Md., is the mall's developer.
However, a competing developer, Minneapolis-based Opus Northwest LLC, vowed Monday to continue to seek department store tenants for its proposed mall nearby, which would be an expansion ...
