Article: Megan Monaghan named to Playwrights' Center job.(ENTERTAINMENT)

The new year brings a rash of theater news.

- The Playwrights' Center has hired Megan Monaghan as director of playwright services, a post last held by Elissa Adams. Monaghan, who comes to the Twin Cities from Frontera@Hyde Park Theatre in Austin, Texas, will oversee $100,000 in grants and work with the center's 75 member playwrights. She has worked with, among others, choreographer Bill T. Jones.
