When the Jungle Theater opens Shakespeare's "Macbeth" Friday in its new $2.5 million home in south Minneapolis, it will boast not just a bigger, better playhouse but also a vibrant neighborhood. In its eight years, the Jungle has catalyzed a renewal of the surrounding Lyn-Lake area that serves as a striking example of how the arts can propel economic and social development.
