The Bard is boffo in Hollywood, but has his recent box-office success translated into similar interest in the literary world?
Harold Bloom's "Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human" recently climbed the bestseller lists. "Shakespeare in Love: The Love Poetry of William Shakespeare," a collection of repackaged sonnets, is doing well in some local bookstores, thanks to the hit movie. But those popular titles hardly indicate a Shakespearean book boom.
In the book industry, far from being "in" again, Shakespeare never went out to begin with.
