Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" opened Wednesday night at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis with a static-infused radio broadcast of stock market quotes and news of the day. By the end of the 2 1/2-hour production, which unfolds in modern dress and contemporary settings, the static is gone from the stage but remains within the audience's disturbed spirits, because the production is at once moving and dissonant.
