Two years after the city began dismantling its aging public housing projects in north Minneapolis, a favored developer has emerged for the $135 million mixed-income housing development that's supposed to take their place.
McCormack Baron, a St. Louis-based developer, was selected Friday to lead the redevelopment, which will include new housing, parks, roads, and possibly a retail area and schools. The 73-acre site straddles Olson Hwy.
