1/3 Every day, third baseman Corey Koskie comes to the ballpark, looks at the lineup, sits down and waits.
Koskie has started only 14 games this season and has played mostly as a pinch hitter. But he isn't frustrated.
"You can't let it get to you," Koskie said. "I've seen people let it get to them."
Koskie has power potential but he has been unable to crack the starting lineup consistently because Ron Coomer has been hot at third and Doug Mientkiewicz has been playing solid defense at first.
So Koskie, batting .282 with three homers and 16 RBI, sat and waited - until Saturday, when he started in right field against Texas. Matt ...
