Western Digital Corporation (NYSE: WDC) today announced it will ship its first Ultra ATA/100-enabled 7200 RPM WD Caviar hard drive this calendar quarter. Western Digital continues its hard drive interface leadership role with the support of the next generation Ultra ATA/100 high-speed interface for desktop hard drives.
