SMART Modular Technologies (Europe) Limited, a subsidiary of SMART Modular Technologies, Inc., which is a wholly owned company of Solectron Corporation's (NYSE: SLR) technology solutions business unit, announces the appointment of Michael Edwards as Vice President, European Sales. Mr. Edwards joins SMART from Toshiba where he was General Manager for the UK and had the responsibility for Toshiba's complete line-up of components.
