Q - Our Maine coon cat misbehaves. My fiance works nights and on his days off when we want to sleep and she wants to be fed, she tips over his water glass, chews on the tissue box, licks his face or as a last resort flicks his ear. Her bad habit of chewing paper has begun to make her gums red and sore. She does none of this with me. When he works his regular schedule, she behaves fine and rarely gets into mischief.
My fiance thinks the cat is jealous of me. We praise her when she does good things; when she is bad we verbally scold her and give her a "time out" in a large cat carrier. We don't know what to do to change her behavior. Our other cat does not behave ...
