In November, a lot of college basketball teams take on weak opponents to sharpen their skills and pad their win-loss records without facing much resistance.
That was not the case for the Gophers against Seton Hall on Tuesday night at Williams Arena. The Gophers needed to have Quincy Lewis come up with a career game to defeat the Pirates. The senior forward scored 36 points, including 24 in the second half, and had a game-high 10 rebounds to help the Gophers pull out a 77-70 victory in front of 14,486 Williams Arena viewers.
"People ask if we've been tested," Gophers coach Clem Haskins said with a sigh. "If tonight ...
