So now you know: The Gophers' 74-60 loss to Michigan State and their 0-4 Big Ten start isn't due only to Sam Jacobson's shirt-and-tie, Wednesday-night attire, Quincy Lewis' wrapped thumb or a frontline that still lacks size, muscle and experience.
Clem Haskins revealed afterward another factor conspiring against his team: The games are just too long.
