How much sleep did you get last night? Five or six hours? Maybe seven?
Do you find yourself thinking that if you could only get by on a little less sleep you'd have more time to get things done? Are you envious of colleagues who assert, usually smugly, that they do fine on four hours of sleep a night?
Well, your colleagues are probably mistaken. Cheating more on your sleep won't make you more productive, and if you get fewer than eight hours of sleep a night you're doomed to be a failure as a human being.
