Is it possible to revisit a place you've never been? When I first read Evelyn Waugh's `Brideshead Revisited,' I imagined the eponymous English estate as a place like Castle Howard, where much of the TV version of the novel was filmed. Now I was about to visit a place I'd never been, yet which felt very familiar.
We were partly through our tour of Castle Howard when it happened - one of those "defining moments" that you remember always because they are so rare.
