The moment Olympic gold medalist and defending world champion Tara Lipinski announced last month she wouldn't be competing this week at Target Center, air leaked from the 1998 World Figure Skating Championships' bubble.
And then the hits just kept on coming, including another big one Saturday when Olympic men's gold medalist Ilia Kulik pulled out, apparently because of a recurring back injury. That means none of the Olympic men's medalists will be competing this week.
