Movie stars, authors and artists have long had agents. Now so do hamburger flippers.
Lisa Rizzo, president and chief executive of Staffing Ala Carte, represents more than hamburger flippers, to be sure.
Her temporary help agency also supplies bartenders, cashiers, waiters and waitresses for all manner of eateries, from Taco Bell to banquet facilities at the Hyatt.
In an era when qualified labor is in short supply, Rizzo's six-month-old business has found a niche - training and supplying workers for the food industry, a trade remarkable for turning over personnel almost as fast as grilled sandwiches.
