A former gang member told jurors in a federal drug and murder trial Thursday that two gang members suspected of arson appear on a video that was taped 15 minutes after and 6 blocks away from the St. Paul fire that killed five young children.
David Pinkston identified Robert J. (Duddy) Jefferson and Willie (Chill) Hart in a tape made between 9:15 and 9:20 p.m. Feb. 28, 1994, in a SuperAmerica store. About the same time, flames were racing through the nearby home of Terri Coppage, killing her five youngest children, ages 2 to 11.
