"Not About Nightingales," presented by Boston Theatre Works at Studio 210, the Boston University Theatre, through June 25.
What's most amazing about "Not About Nightingales," the early Tennessee Williams play that is having its local premiere by Boston Theatre Works, is that it was lost for so long. Rediscovered by actress Vanessa Redgrave, this searing prison drama didn't receive its first production until 1998, 60 years after it was written.
