Ihave one very quick reaction. I call it my duvet reflex. The moment my alarm goes off, bouncing like a round of bullets off the walls of my bedroom, I immediately pull the soft down of my duvet over my head and let it cushion me from the blow.
Like just about everyone else I know, I hate mornings. Rarely, ie. never, do I leap out of bed with a skip and a jump feeling I have fully recovered from the day before. Somewhere along the line, I am missing sleep's vital function - its ability to recharge my batteries enough to go raring into battle again the next day.
