Prime Minister Ehud Barak met today (Wednesday), 7.6.2000, with Russian Interior Minister Vladmir Rushailo and thanked him for the freeing of Adi Sharon and Leora Lichtman. Prime Minister Barak stressed the need to wage a vigorous struggle against terrorism, with the cooperation of all countries in the free world. Prime Minister Barak briefed Minister Rushailo on developments in the peace process and noted that following the IDF's withdrawal from Lebanon most attention is being focused on the Palestinian track.
