Around Liberty Check Printers Inc., the company he founded in 1986 and nurtured with buckets of sweat and years of sacrifice, Dave Copham is known as a tough boss who does not hide his feelings, second-guess his opinions or blunt his words.
While he remains popular with employees because of his egalitarian notions and generous benefits, he nevertheless is a taskmaster who does not easily tolerate a worker's shortcomings.
