Broadcasting sources are not giving much chance of Dean Bunting retiring from KSTP-TV with the record for the longest tenure as news director. Neither is Bunting. "Oh, probably not," he said in his usual upbeat delivery. I keep hearing that the Dean of Broadcasting can be a terror, but he's always disarming when I talk to him. "Look at all the news directors who have been here who have gone on to other things," he said. "So, what the heck. Whatever happens, happens."
