Article: Ibuprofen's risks belonged high in story on its possible Alzheimer's benefit.(NEWS)

A March 10 headline across six columns said, "Taking ibuprofen routinely can reduce risk of developing Alzheimer's, study shows." The story from the Los Angeles Times News Service said frequent ibuprofen consumption for two years or longer can reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's by as much as 60 percent.

Six paragraphs into the article was the warning:

"But the researchers cautioned against widespread use of ibuprofen in an effort to stave off the debilitating disease. . . . The drug can cause peptic ulcers and kidney damage."
