Boston Beer Co. Inc. and its Minneapolis-based ad agency and attorney may be hoisting a few glasses today.
Boston Beer is claiming victory in an advertising dispute with industry giant Anheuser-Busch Inc., based on a Monday ruling by the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus Inc. The ruling is seen by many as a surprising win for the "little guy" in what attorney Stephen Bergerson terms "the biggest case I've ever had."
