On most Wednesdays at 7 a.m., you can find Sister Char Madigan standing vigil outside Alliant Techsystem's headquarters in Hopkins, protesting landmine production. Last April she was arrested for blocking the company's doors, the 25th time she'd been arrested in a demonstration.
"We're maiming our own children when we maim children with landmines overseas," says Madigan. "We're killing ourselves when we kill other people. . . . We are all part of the mystical body of Christ. Whatever we do to each other we do to God."
