The shredders of Cheddars are busy as can be
All heck is breaking loose among the shredded cheeses.
First, the quietest development, but potentially the most disturbing. This photo shows two new - and barely distinguishable - Kraft products: Kraft Velveeta mild Cheddar flavor shredded pasteurized process Cheddar cheese ("melts smooth & creamy"), and Kraft Cheddary Melts shredded mild pasteurized process cheese food.
The flavors differ slightly - Cheddary Melts being a bit more Cheddary and Velveeta being . . . Velveeta - but the big difference is that the bag of Velveeta, like every similar bag of shredded cheese, from every maker, weighs 8 ...
