In a masterstroke of understated hype, Saturday's matchups between No. 2 Penn State and No. 4 Michigan, and No. 3 Florida State
and No. 5 North Carolina have been billed as Judgment Day.
It could be judgment day for Penn State and coach Joe Paterno if the Nittany Lions continue to play the way they have for the past two games. Penn State (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) has defeated the Gophers and Northwestern by a total of four points, and has been sloppy in the process.
