Hundreds of vehicles, from the most staid to the most outrageous, scream for attention from dozens of exhibits. Photographers jockey for position, often stepping in front of each other and ruining carefully planned shots. Strobe lights flash constantly; TV crews wander across the floor firing in all directions.
This is press day at the Tokyo Motor Show, perhaps the most innovative, most exciting motor show in the world. And it's one of the biggest.
