Leeann Chin Inc. is missing an ingredient - Leeann Chin.
Chin, the founder of the Bloomington-based restaurant company and a member of the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame, is on "a leave of absence," that ends this month, according to company Chief Executive Ron Fuller.
At that time, she will decide whether to stay with the company. "She's 63," Fuller said. "I don't know which way she will go."
But age has less to do with her absence and upcoming decision than the ownership situation at the company she founded in 1980.
