Evidence that could lead to a first-degree murder indictment against a teenager accused of killing a Rice County sheriff's deputy at the end of a high-speed chase will be presented to a grand jury as early as this week.

Rice County Attorney Jeff Thompson said Monday that prosecutors

have reviewed most of the police and investigative reports related to the May 3 incident. Thompson declined to discuss details of the case, however.
