A former University of Minnesota employee suspected of making numerous agitated calls to President Nils Hasselmo's office was arrested Saturday morning in connection with a shooting incident outside his office.

University police arrested Jennifer Joan May, 36, at her south Minneapolis home about 11 a.m. after searching the house Friday evening, Police Chief Joy Rikala said. May was linked to Tuesday's incident through a composite drawing and phone calls she allegedly made to Hasselmo's office in which she used profanities similar to those uttered by the woman who fired a gun into the ceiling in the office.
