Although Monti Moreno often suggests to his audiences that he is a successful salon owner and self-made businessman, his enterprises appear to be in a state of decline and legal difficulty, at best.
For several years, he ran a salon called Hair by Monti Moreno and Friends, in a trendy shopping mall on Stillwater's riverfront. But the Republican Senate candidate has been involved in a three-year legal battle with his landlords, who stated in court papers that they were going to seek an order evicting him for failing to pay $4,400 in rent and related expenses.
