Hampered by torrential rains, the Vikings proved Monday night they can fumble outdoors as well as indoors.
In a sloppy display on national television, Vikings quarterback Warren Moon fumbled four times in the first half of a 24-17 exhibition loss to the Dolphins at Joe Robbie Stadium.
With baseball still in full swing, the Florida Marlins' infield occupies half of the Dolphins' playing field, leaving swaths of dirt that intermittent showers turned into a slick, oatmeal-like substance.
