When Bob Wolfe retired more than a decade ago after 42 years with 3M, he was a senior vice president and a director. Not bad for a farm kid born in St. Peter, Minn.

But despite Bob's professional accomplishments, and there were many, he is more widely known as a dog man than as a businessman. His canine of choice always has been the retriever, specifically the Labrador - in Bob's case always black Labradors, and always well-trained Labradors.

So well-trained, in fact, that this weekend Bob, 80, will be inducted into the Retriever Hall of Fame, which is part of the National Bird Dog Museum in Grand Junction, Tenn.
