On a snowy night in 1981, a young, blond woman from Iowa banged on Yonassan Gershom's front door and changed his life.
She had been following him for months as Gershom, a Minneapolis writer, told tales of Jewish mysticism and spirituality at workshops throughout the Twin Cities.
And though she wasn't Jewish, she desperately wanted to tell him a story of her own. It was about the Holocaust, and how she had been one of its victims - in a past life.
