Jake Reed is getting to like the view. And he's seeing it more than ever.
Nothing in the NFL is prettier to a receiver than staring into no-man's land, a place free and clear with wide-open possibilities.
"Once I get in front of everybody, I get to smiling," said Reed, the sixth-year Vikings receiver. "I know if I get too many steps on the defender, it'll be hard to catch me. I get excited and get to running harder than I ever ran before.
"It's fun, once you're in front of that final person and see the fans back there waiting for you. You don't see nothing but end zone. It's a great feeling just to run to pure daylight, to run to the end zone."
