Hilton Hotels Corporation has announced the grand opening of its newest property, the 248-room University of Florida Hotel & Conference Center, a Doubletree(R) hotel, in Gainesville, Fla., representing another addition to the company's nationwide collection of full-service university hotels and conference centers.

The newly constructed University of Florida Hotel & Conference Center is owned by Mass Mutual/Cornerstone Advisors and managed by DT Management, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation.
