Just a few years ago, my daughter pleaded for any apparel imprinted with a My Little Pony logo - only bright pink or purple, please. Today, she wants Abercrombie or nothing and the only fuchsia thing about her is her face when her mother does something mortifying, such as singing, dancing or talking in the presence of other 14-year-olds.
