The Dundee-Crown High School Student Rotary Club recently completed a three-year project. They collected and sent math and science textbooks to a Uganda Rotary Club in Africa.
This project is one of the many projects the club completes every year.
Sue Barkley of the Winnetka Rotary Club relayed the idea to Dundee-Crown after she received a request for the books was from Uganda.
Textbooks were donated from Dundee Township-based Unit District 300 schools including Jacobs High School, Dundee Middle School, Carpentersville Middle School and Dundee-Crown.
