Jun. 15--When cycling enthusiasts Robert Johnston and Bill Dominici went to work for one of Chattanooga's busiest bicycle shops, little did they know that one day they would wind up owning the place.
But that's what happened when the two assumed ownership late last month of River City Bicycles Inc., on Tremont Street in the trendy Frazier Avenue section of the revitalized North Shore.
"We'd both worked here before and knew the store was in a great location," said Mr. Johnston, the son of Summerfield K. Johnston Jr., chairman of Coca-Cola Enterprises. "So when David (Haberkam) decided to sell, we made an offer."
