Jun. 15--Though it was nothing like the roar of street rodders and motorcycles expected at the Colorado State Fairgrounds later this month, the Fair's financial reports met with unanimous approval on Wednesday.

The Fair's operating budget will end the 1999-2000 fiscal year at the end of June showing a net profit of almost $34,000, controller Laura Solano told Fair commissioners meeting in Pueblo. The Fair management had anticipated a $14,100 profit for the year, but exceeded that projection by almost $20,000, she said.
