On average, the Intercontinental hosts a Winemaker dinner about once a month.
The dinners are held in the Vino Tech, an intimate space in the Grand Cafe where the decor is clean and sharp. Tables are close together and prior to dinner, guests mingle close to the sideboard containing the hors d'oeuvres and a selection of cocktail wines.
The dinners are structured so that a different wine is served with each course. The informative side to having a great meal and becoming more than a little tipsy is that the hosting wine maker gives a brief description of each wine.
