But if announcement day was any indication, adding Miller to the Monday Night Football broadcast team will be a blast.
That team was in a room in New York on Thursday - play-by-play veteran Al Michaels, new analyst Dan Fouts, Miller, two new sideline reporters - introducing itself via conference call. The room was full of laughs, one-liners, full of energy. And Miller, the professional comedian, wasn't the only one in gear. Dan Fouts was cracking jokes. So was Al Michaels.
If any of that energy survives until September, watching Monday Night Football won't feel so ...
