NASA on Friday awarded Boeing [BA] Delta Launch Services and Lockheed Martin [LMT] Commercial Launch Services contracts to provide launch services for the next 10 years, a deal with a potential total value of $5 billion.
The NASA Launch Services (NLS) contract provides a broad range of launch services for NASA planetary, earth-observing and scientific payloads. The contract is for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a minimum of one launch service to each contractor, spanning the 10-year period.
