San Diego's 132-year-old daily newspaper, The San Diego Union-Tribune, isn't just a traditional newspaper anymore. To communicate that, the multi-media publisher has tapped matthews/mark to develop and implement a major branding campaign.
The decision comes at a time when the newspaper, which reaches more San Diegans than any other single medium, is unveiling significant design, layout and content changes for the first time in several years. In addition, it has launched Enlace, a Spanish-language news publication serving San Diego's substantial Hispanic population as well as neighboring Tijuana, Mexico.
