Japan-based DENSO Corporation, a leader in car navigation systems since 1987, today announced that DENSO's top-ranked in-vehicle navigation system for North America will be the first to offer complete digital U.S. map coverage.
ITS Research General Manager Richard Pearlman of DENSO International America, Inc. said, "We successfully merged two mapping databases to create a single new database that covers all U.S. highways, and urban and rural areas. This is the first time that such complete U.S. in-vehicle navigation coverage has been available."
