A Quebec pedophile has himself castrated to reduce his sentence
Two months ago, 43-year-old Jacques Corneau voluntarily submitted to a 10-minute castration procedure. By the end of the day the repeat child molester was back in his Quebec prison cell, hoping that his drastic action would successfully cure the behaviour that had resulted in two convictions in less than a decade. Corneau is only the third sex offender in Quebec to be surgically castrated for the sole reason of controlling sexually deviant compulsions. Two more repeat offenders have reportedly volunteered for the surgery.
