Production versatility is a byword at Manhattan's Aladdin Laminating, which has just become the first U.S. finishing plant to install a new computer-controlled spot scoring, spot perfing and spot gluing system that can process sheets up to 28x40", fed either long or short. This modular, high-speed automated production line turns sheets at a right angle for a second round of "start-and-stop" slitting, scoring, perfing, gluing, and folding. Aladdin Laminating's new production line, dubbed the "Magic Genie," is a modular system supplied by Dick Moll & Sons, with components by MBO and Rollem.
